We also supply a range of replacements for wardrobe sliding systems to avoid having to replace entire systems and to reduce parts being wasted.
Top Hung Wardrobe Systems
Top hung wardrobe systems slide on a track at the top of the doors, where twin rails allow two, three or more doors to slide seamlessly past each other. Each system is rated to a different weight, meaning you can use any door as long as it does not exceed the weight limit of the system. For example, the SF-30 is a top hung wardrobe system which can be used on doors up to 30kg per door. The SF-53 is another top hung system; However this system allows for doors of up to 45kg each.
Bottom Rolling Wardrobe Systems
Bottom rolling systems work in a similar way, they use two twin tracks which are fixed to the bottom of the door, as well as bottom rollers, allowing a smooth glide. These systems come with two top and bottom tracks and two rollers and top guides per door. These systems also come in various sizes for different door weights. The SF-25 allows for doors of up to 25kg each, the SF-47 allows for doors of up to 45kg each, this is the only fully framed unit we sell and is the only bottom rolling system which allows for a soft brake. Finally the SF-51, which is our heaviest rated bottom rolling system, allowing for doors of up to 50kg per door. The tracks of these systems can also be cut down to the right length, so if you have any leftover track this can be cut off.
Glass Wardrobe Systems
Our sliding glass wardrobe systems are designed to be used with frameless glass doors. They can also be used for glass cupboard doors, for showcases, bookcases, jewellery or trophy display cabinets, interior windows and lightweight glass doors – not just wardrobes! Our glass cupboard system is rated up to 25kgs per door and tracks come in both 1.2m and 1.8m. The wardrobe sliding system we sell, the SV45/SV85 can be used for doors of up to either 45kgs, or 85kgs, depending on the system you chose. This system is only suitable for multiple doors, and the double top track allows the doors to slide past each other with a minimal lateral gap.
Bi-folding Wardrobe Systems
Bi-folding systems are systems that simultaneously slide and fold in the middle, to open up a doorway. The Henderson Bi-fold sliding door gear is a lightweight system, only rated up to 14kgs for the entire system. This means if using 2 doors each door must be no more than 7kg each. The Henderson Bi-folf uses a thin aluminium top track of just 16mm thick, which can also be cut down. These systems can be used together for a 2, 4, 6 or 8 door system, however single systems can be supplied for either 2 or 4 doors.
