HATCH Glass Cupboard Kit

In this weeks blog we will be looking at glass wardrobe and cupboard systems, specifically the differences between the HATCH system and the SV45/SV85 systems for glass doors.

HATCH Glass System

The Hatch system is a system designed to be used with frameless glass as a cupboard system. The system can take frameless glass doors of a 6mm thickness weighing up to 20kg each, with a door size of up to 1500mm high and 770mm wide. The kit includes an aluminium double bottom track and an aluminium double top track with brushpile strips as well as a full fixing kit. This system is also supplied with a cylinder lock making it the ideal solution for display and trophy cabinets, reception hatches, interior windows and much more.

SV45 and SV85 Systems

The SV45 and SV85 systems are designed to be used with frameless glass as a larger wardrobe system compared to the HATCH system which is designed for smaller doors. The SV45 system can take frameless glass doors 8mm or 10mm thick, weighing up to 45kgs each and the SV85 is designed for frameless glass doors of an 8mm or 10mm thickness up to 85kgs in weight. Both kits come supplied with an extruded double top track allowing the glass doors to slide smoothly past each other with a minimal lateral gap. The kits include 4 roller carriages with glass clamps, 2 frameless glass floor guides, 2 stop brakes and all fixings. There are also multiple optional extras which can be purchased to work alongside this system. The optional full length pelmet can be used to conceal the tracks, and optional wall mounting brackets allow the system to be mounted against a wall, rather than hung from a ceiling.
