Terms & Conditions for the Sliding Doorstuff website.
Please read these product terms and conditions carefully as they set out the terms under which the Doorstuff Ltd makes the products available to you ("Product Terms").
The prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out in the web site.
If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Orders placed on our online hardware store are an offer to purchase and are subject to acceptance by Doorstuff Limited. We try always to ensure availability is correct, but sometimes stock can sell out quickly. In the rare event this occurs, we will attempt to contact you to advise on when products can be delivered or suggest an alternative purchase or full refund if there is a delay for delivery. In the event you request a split delivery, additional delivery charges will be incurred. The customer is responsible that information provided to us on address, personal details, delivery address and method of payment are true and accurate. Any changes to such details must be notified immediately to our Customer Services Team on email@example.com.
Delivery will be made to the address specified by you. You should check the order details on the email confirmations and advise immediately of any changes. Please note that we can only deliver products within mainland and offshore UK. Most deliveries will be made to you by courier and will need to be signed for, items under 1kg may be sent via Royal Mail first class. We do our best to secure delivery within the period quoted but shall not be liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery or arising out of any cause beyond our control. No deliveries are made on a Saturday, except by specific prior discussion with a member of staff, additional charges apply.
If you place your order before noon on a working day, we will endeavor to dispatch the same day for delivery between 7am and 6pm in 1 - 2 working days. Royal Mail postal delivery times may be longer. Some areas including Grampians & Scottish Highlands (postcode areas: AB10-AB16, AB21-AB25, AB30-AB37, AB38, AB39, AB41-AB45, AB51-AB56, AB99, all IV postcodes, KW1-14, PA33, PA38, PH17-26, PH30-41, PH49, PH50 & Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands etc) also take longer for courier delivery.
If you place your order on a Friday night, Saturday or Sunday the item/items will be dispatched Monday for delivery on Tuesday. If you have placed an order, with a requested delivery day which falls upon a bank holiday, please expect delivery the day after.
Our courier does not deliver on bank holidays. In certain areas the delivery may take up to three working days (i.e. Scottish Highlands and certain other rural areas.)
Please Note - Next day deliveries are not guaranteed, even though 95% of orders do get to their destinations the following day, we cannot be held responsible for late deliveries due to events that are out of our control.
Christmas Dispatches 2021
Doorstuff is closing at 1pm on Thursday 23rd December for Christmas, re-opening on Tuesday 4th January 2022. Although our trade counter will be open for collections as normal until 1pm on 23rd December, the deadlines for placing orders to be dispatched by carrier before the shutdown is as follows:-

Dispatches will resume on Tuesday 4th January on a first come, first served basis. We wish all our customers a happy & prosperous seasonal holiday!
No quibble money back guarantee
We are so confident of the quality of our products that if any item does not meet your expectations you may return it for whatever reason within 14 days, no quibble! All we ask is that returns arrive in unused, perfect condition, with the original packaging still intact. Costs of returning the goods are your responsibility. DO NOT return the item without first contacting us as we will be unable to give you a refund. Customers must obtain proof of return from their carrier. Any returns after 14 days are at our discretion and a 15% restocking fee will be charged. No returns will be accepted after 90 days. Items which are made-to-order, or finished-to-order are not refundable. Customers must meet the cost of return carriage on correctly supplied goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please Note - you are responsible for cost of returning unwanted/cancelled items to us and for the value of the goods if they are diminished as a result of your handling whilst with you or in the return transit to us. Please take care of them and package them well.
All Doorstuff products are rigorously quality checked before dispatch but in the unlikely event that you experience any problems or your product is faulty please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call our customer service team on 01626 335500. We will promptly deal with your queries and if necessary arrange for a replacement to be sent without delay. This does not affect your statutory rights.
You can pay on-line with all major credit and debit cards. Your payment card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. You will be charged for items at the point of order. Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.
