COVID-19 Important Information

During this difficult and rapidly changing period, Doorstuff is taking all possible measures to ensure that our products and services will remain available.

As a country, indeed a global community, we are facing a crisis and as a family business who consider our staff, customers, and suppliers to be part of our extended family, we recognise the importance of supporting one another – together we will get through this.

Here are some of the measures we have taken to reduce the spread of COVID-19:

Some of our staff are now working from home. Our phone lines remain open as usual and customer support and administration will continue unaffected. We have ensured that there are now half the amount of staff in the building at any one time, allowing them plenty of personal space in accordance with social distancing.

Our website is operating as normal. Orders can be received online, as well as over the phone, and items will be dispatched as normal unless further government restrictions come into place. In the case of these restrictions, we will provide further information via email and in our daily Facebook and Twitter posts.

Our dedicated warehouse staff are still processing your dispatches and we are still maintaining our usual quick turnaround times for our stock products. We also still have daily collections and deliveries from our carriers. However, we are experiencing some disruption in the Republic of Ireland, so please call us if you need a delivery in that area.

Signing for deliveries is now not recommended to avoid sharing electronic devices. If you prefer not to sign, the driver will unload your parcel, stand at a distance and sign for you with the code ‘CV’ after you have come to the door. In the rare case of a damaged or missing parcel, then please inform the driver immediately in the normal way (information is shown on the parcel).

Our trade counter in Teignmouth will remain open for business up until any possible event of the government issuing a phase of store closures. We ask that you respect a 2 metre separation between yourself and other customers in the showroom.

All staff have been told to stay at home if they exhibit any symptoms as per the guidelines. Staff members have been supported with hygiene and distancing advice, as well as care and information to reassure them of our heartfelt consideration towards them and their families.
