What Is A Pocket Door?

Glass sliding pocket door, half open

A pocket door is a type of sliding door that, when open, fits inside a pocket in the wall. This makes the door become “hidden” when it is open. Therefore the door is not visible or in the way of movement, however it can still be shut or locked to provide privacy. Doorstuff supply pocket doors made for timber and frameless glass and also supplies fire-rated door kits. The kits include the track, brackets, runners and stops and, for the fire-rated door kits, intumescent fire seals. The kits contain wall reinforcement to provide structural strength to the wall. We supply kits available for both single and double doors.
